Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 15, 2026 • Version 1.2

1. Open Source MIT License

The Bloom Framework, CLI tools, runtime controllers, and UI primitives are open-source software distributed under the terms of the MIT License.

You are free to use, modify, distribute, sublicense, and deploy Bloom in commercial and proprietary applications without paying licensing fees or royalties. You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all applications, widgets, data schemas, and assets you create with Bloom.

2. Bloom Cloud & OTA Services

Bloom Cloud provides over-the-air code patch hosting, channel routing, and health telemetry. By using Bloom Cloud OTA services:

  • You agree not to deploy malicious bytecode, rootkits, spyware, or unauthorized data harvesting mechanisms to client devices.
  • You agree to comply with Apple App Store Review Guidelines (section 3.3.2) and Google Play Developer Program Policies regarding runtime patch distribution.
  • We reserve the right to suspend OTA channels that violate safety policies or generate severe security incidents.

3. User Ownership & Zero Lock-in

Bloom is engineered around a strict Zero Vendor Lock-in philosophy:

  • Bloom UI primitives are copied directly into your project as standard Flutter Dart files (lib/bloom_ui/).
  • All generated routing tables use standard Flutter go_router packages.
  • You can eject from the Bloom CLI tooling at any point while retaining full compilability of your Flutter codebase.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY.

5. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of Bloom Cloud services following any published changes signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
